On May 20, 2026, I obtained full membership, with all rights and duties, in the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Authors — Its an important step and an achievement I am proud of.
The General Union of Palestinian Writers and Men of Letters is the trade union and institutional framework representing Palestinian writers and literary figures inside and outside Palestine. It was founded in 1966, constitutes an important part of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and aims to safeguard national culture, protect the Palestinian narrative, and unite creative energies in the face of occupation.
